The Sheikh Zayed Mosque and Cultural Centre project in Chad reached a significant milestone with the commencement of construction in N'Djamena. The project is being implemented by the UAE Aid Agency in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, Budget, Economy, Planning and International Cooperation of Chad, following an agreement signed between the UAE and Chad in April 2025. The initiative was launched under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court. The initiative reflects the UAE's commitment to strengthening cultural ties, promoting knowledge exchange, and supporting sustainable development in partner countries.
