Chartered Accountant and CPA Jishnu Purushothaman serves as Finance Manager at Areem Plus, bringing over a decade of financial leadership experience across fast-growth technology ventures, education, and large-scale retail operations spanning India and Africa.

Jishnu began his career in financial consulting, advising SME clients on financial modeling, business planning, and management reporting before moving into senior finance leadership roles. He has led FP&A and financial governance for a fast-scaling AI-powered technology company, driven forecasting and reporting transformation for an education company preparing for public markets, and most recently headed finance for a major retail operation across Southern Africa — securing significant debt financing, strengthening working capital discipline, and leading a cross-border shared services transformation.

His work is guided by a conviction that financial rigor should serve as a foundation for growth, not a constraint on it — building systems and structures that give organizations the clarity and confidence to scale with purpose. Jishnu brings this same philosophy to Areem Plus, applying disciplined financial governance and strategic financial planning to support the firm's cross-border, high-stakes engagements with governments, institutions, and global partners.

He holds professional qualifications as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a CPA from CPA Australia, alongside an MBA in Project Management.
